Everything here is free. Events need seven days' notice to make the Thursday list. Tips are checked before they run. Photos are credited by name.

An event

Public events in or near Forsyth County. We also read the Discover FoCo and City of Cumming calendars, so if it is already there, you are covered.

For example, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

By submitting, you confirm the details are accurate and you are authorized to share them.

A tip

Something opening, closing, changing, or worth knowing. Anonymous is fine.

An opening, a closing, something at the schools, a county decision. A link helps.

Tips are verified before they run. We never publish your name or email without asking.

A photo

The lake, the mountain, the fair, your street in the snow. One runs every issue with your name on it.

A Google Drive, Dropbox, or iCloud link works. We will ask for the original if we use it.

By submitting, you confirm you took the photo (or have the photographer's permission) and you give FoCo Scoop a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish it in the newsletter, on this site, and on our social accounts, with credit. No identifiable children without a parent's permission.
